Study On The Influence Of Industrial Ecology Upon Enterprise Competitiveness

In recent years, with the arising of global problems, such as population expansion, resources shortage and environment deterioration, a new development mode, which is called sustainable development, has already been accepted by most of the countries in the world. The Chinese government also put forward the sustainable development strategy. Ecological industry has become an important part of the sustainable development strategy and become the only way to ensure the transformation of economic growth method. However, the academic research on ecological industry is far from the level of in-depth research on factors of enterprise competitiveness. Enterprises play a role as the micro-base of the economic development, so the ecological strategy of national economy may not be carried out successfully, if without the participation and cooperation of enterprises. To implement the ecological industry strategy and develop green economy is essential to the survival and development of enterprises. Therefore, whether enterprises can be widely inducted to participate in the ecological industry practice with proper economic motivation, will be of great importance to the enhancement of enterprises competitiveness and the popularization and actualization of the concept of ecological industry.Based on the relative theories of ecological industry and enterprise competitiveness, this paper analyzes the influence mechanism of ecological industry on enterprise competitiveness. Firstly, this paper divides enterprise competence into three levels, which are product level, organizational level and core level, further, this paper takes some typical factors as the beginning point for the analysis of enterprise competence. After integrating the factors of all levels, this paper chooses two aspects of industrial ecology, that is, from the macro and micro respective, to analysis the influence of industrial ecology on enterprise competence and to construct the analysis framework. From the macro level, this paper probes into the influence of the ecological industry on enterprise competitiveness when the enterprises are urged to follow national environmental regulation, and analyzes the shortcomings of the existing hypothesis and puts forward a new analysis method, that is environment competitiveness matrix. Then this paper discusses the influence mechanism from the micro level, and analyzes the influence on organizational level competence and core level competence when enterprises take the ecological responsibilities. After that, this paper constructs index system for evaluation of enterprise competitiveness under the background of industrial ecology, and takes a public listed paper making company in Hunan as an example, to conduct empirical analysis. At last, this paper puts forward improvements for enterprise competence under the background of industrial ecology.
