For survival and development in the drastic market competition,theengineering and design units in China should establish an effective and strong operableperformance evaluation system for measuring and evaluating the performance objectively, theperformance evaluation system can mobilize positive of designers, form the corecompetitiveness of enterprises. At present the performance evaluation system which is adoptsby most enterprises has a lot of problem and deficiencies, therefor the evaluation result cannotreflect the working achievement of designers, and bruise the positive of designers to a certaindegree, also influence the smooth completion of working task and achievement oforganization objective. In this paper, the ZKTY company is the research object. The paperanalysis the domestic and oversea research of performance evaluation system for engineeringand design unit firstly, then lead the team performance evaluation method into theperformance evaluation of engineering and design units. This paper has designed a set ofperformance evaluation system for engineering and design unit by analyzing the characteristicof engineering and design units. The performance evaluation system has been apply to ZKTYcompany and gained preferable result.
