China aviation industry is a sunrise industry in the rapid development period, but the uncoordinated situation that uneven distribution of airport in east and west exists long in nationwide airports development. As reform of civil aviation goes further, foreign and private capital gradually open up, some airports increasingly expand, some airports are entrusted and some are suspended, now regional airports that account for80%domestic airports are almost at loss. China civil aviation administration (CAAC) takes a series of measures to promote the development of regional airports and create a complete industrial chain for the rapid development of China aviation market. Ordos Airport is one of the regional airports with strong development and rapid growth of passenger flow, now the opportunities and challenges coexist in Ordos airport. Under such circumstances, market development of airport has strong realistic significance.The object of this study is aviation market development in Ordos Ejin Horo Airport (hereinafter called Ordos Airport). This paper is divided into three chapters: First, the literature analysis is applied to sort out elements of the relevant concept and relevant theory comprehensively. Second, based on the situation that market development of Ordos airports, SWOT model is used to systematicly analyzes the macro-environment. At the same time, we take full account of the current development status of Ordos Airport to know the internal environment of market development that facing. Apply Porter Five Forces Model theory to analyze the bargaining power of buyers, bargaining power of suppliers, industry concentration, the threat of new entrants, threat of substitute products or services, especially the industry competitors. The two models can tell us that the Ordos airport’s strengths and disadvantage as well as opportunities and threats facing,and then we know the present market development environment condition. Third, according to the existing problems, present the airport market development planning and integrated marketing strategies,hopr it can contribute to market development and provide ideas for other regional airports in market develoment.
