Inner Mongolia Airport Group Financial Management Module Of The Implementation Of The Sap System

Inner Mongolia Airport group is in a rapid growth period as an important regional airport management company in China. The most important issues that management must consider are how to improve the operational efficiency of the airport, how to effectively solve the problems raising in the growing of business, and how to enhance the core competitiveness of the company. The successful application of Information Technology in airport industry brings possibility to solve the above problems. Aiming for this, started from November2006, SAP solution was firstly implemented in Hohhot Airport, and was then also put into use in other6regional airports including Baotou and Hulunbeier Airport in October2007. During2010to2011, SAP solution was put into use in Erlianhaote, Aershan, Bayannaoer Airport. The article illuminates an overview of the SAP system, based on the study in the general understanding of Inner Mongolia Airport Group. The research focuses on and elaborates the application of SAP Financial Management Module in business situation of Inner Mongolia Airport Group. It is with the hope that the thesis could offer comprehensive experience and case study to other regional airports on how to implement, optimizing, and take full advantages of SAP solutions to boost business in a challenging market.
