From the psychology, people start to concern mental model. After Peter M. Senge introducedit to the management, interdisciplinary research enriched the mental model’ concepts, butinevitably led to the definition unclearly, so brought the great challenges on the mental models’empirical research.With the research that becomes to mature gradually on the entrepreneurs mental model andshare mental model, the research of employee mental model also attracts more and more attention,especially it has the impact on the organization development. In this paper, based on a newview-the cause of formation for employee mental model, we absorb the predecessor’s researchresults, analyze the characteristics of the employee mental model and the influence on enterprisemanagement; summarize the employee mental model’ formation expression: EMM=f{X(P),H(E,P,E)}; analyze employee mental model’ innate factors and acquired disposition, combine thethree problem with our country’s enterprise employee mental model management: neglectingemployee mental model’s interactive understanding; work and life imbalance and employeemental model is out of date. Based on this, we put forward employee mental model’sself-management UIEL circulation and organization management LCC circulation.Through to the comparative analysis about the cause of formation for employee mentalmodel between Foxconn technology group and Haier group, we point out five problems inFoxconn employee mental model management: poor communication; the “wolf” enterpriseculture; suspending enterprise society responsibility; the training content single; the loweremotional quotient. Finally, we put forward six suggestions of improving employee mental modelof Foxconn, which are to reflection existing employee mental model, develop employee’ goodcharacter, establish effective communication channel, expand people strategy and promotion,implement employee assistance programs and improve employee’ emotional quotient in practice.
