This paper investigates how to eliminate career plateau phenomenon of employees in domestic companies and how to increase staff job satisfaction in order to further improve the job performance of employees.Qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis methods are utilized in this paper. Qualitative analysis focuses on collecting, reading and organizing references to sort out relevant theories, which deems there exists certain relevance among career plateau, job satisfaction and job performance while job satisfaction plays an intermediary role.This paper utilizes three-dimensional plateau model, namely hierarchical plateau, content plateau and centralizing plateau proposed by Xiebao Guo (2005) to describe career plateau. Meanwhile, job performance is described by three-dimensional performance model presented by Motowidlo&Scotter (1996), which contains task performance, interpersonal facilitation and job dedication.Quantitative analysis mainly considers employees in domestic companies as the research sample and accesses data by means of questionnaire. Then SPSS17.0and AMOS17.0are used to make statistical analysis of relevant data. Statistical results show that different career plateau dimensions have significant impacts on job satisfaction and job performance dimensions. Job satisfaction has significant impacts on job performance dimensions while its intermediary effect impacts on partly.The end part of the paper draws conclusions by analyzing the results above, points out inadequacies exist in this paper, makes outlooks on the following research and finally makes recommendations for enterprise human resource management.
