Study On Project Management For New Product Introduction

At present,Application of project management is applied with higher level inconstruction and IT fields, However, with lower level in electronic manufacturingindustry.Meanwhile, The research on project management in electronic manufacturingindustry is mainly focused on new product development phase, while less concern in thetransition stage between new product and mass production, which is defined as newproduct introduction phase in this thesis, To settle the process chaos issue currently existedin project management in new product introduction in electronic manufacturing industry,this thesis do the project management application research during new product introductionphase in electronic manufacturing industry.Firstly, This thesis shows the relevant concepts in project management and directionsof the project management in domestic and international, Then, it introduces the producelife cycle theory and applies it to identify where the new product introduction phase covers,further more, functional and matrix management mode were drawn into this thesis, Theconclusion can be drawn that matrix management mode is feasibility in new productintroduction phase on the analyzing of theory and practice, Finally, with the experiences innew product introduction in company A, the thesis deeply analyzes and studies the wholeprocess of electronic new product introduction from project initialization，planning,execution&control to project closeout, in the last paragraph, it is the conclusion of thisthesis and further research suggestion.
