Research City And Hinterland Dual-Drive Push Model On Inland Port-Neighboring Economy

As inland shipping becomes more and more important in our country, more inland port areas are increasing the construction of inland port, inland ports construction enter into a period of rapid development. Under the development of west integrated transport hub, Leshan port starts making the overall development plan, it makes Leshan to develop port-neighboring economy possible.Although there is not a standard model for Leshan to develop inland port-neighboring economy. Therefore, this article do the research on the elements of inland port-neighboring economy, And try to build a model suitable for inland port-neighboring economy, in order to illustrate the inland port city and the inland port hinterland play the role of supporting the economy.This paper bases on the theory of the regional economic, the port industry, the spatial economics, uses a combination methods of theoretical analysis and empirical analysis, builds a model of inland port-neighboring economy for Leshan. This article introduce the concept of the inland area and the port-neighboring economy, and the get the concept of the inland port-neighboring economy. From the perspective of spatial economics, this article analyzes the seven major elements of the inland port-neighboring economy. This interaction among the seven major elements is just the model of the inland port-neighboring economy, city and hinterland dual-drive push model.Further more, the article selects Leshan inland port-neighboring economy as specific research object, the author divides Leshan inland port-neighboring economy into three stages since Qin Dynasty. You can get a deep understanding about the origins of Leshan inland port-neighboring economy. And then, this article analysis the elements of Leshan inland port-neighboring economy, such as Leshan port, Leshan city,transport factors and so on. And then builds city and hinterland dual-drive push model of Leshan, points out the outstanding problems in the development process of Leshan inland port-neighboring economy. At last, the author proposes a number of measures for Leshan inland port-neighboring economy.
