Research On The Improvement Of Worksite Logistics Management For Thyssen Company

"5S" is a working-spot management method to improve efficiency andcompetitiveness for the company. It is necessary to continuous improvement via "5S"activities and continuous improvement."5S" is brought in and carried out by manymanufacturing enterprise in recently. It can bring significant improvement of allperformance such as finer image, lower cost, safer working, higher standardization,more comfortable working place in an organization. Because of this, more and moreenterprises have realized the important of fieldwork management, thus make themfocus on fieldwork again.Worksite management improvement includes many aspects, this paper is fromspot logistics, worksite management and work standardization to research. It caneliminate bottlenecks and all kinds of waste phenomenon to optimize productionprocesses and reduce the cost of operating.The study of this paper is based on specific problems of the enterprise, allaspects are improved. To the current situation of fieldwork management research andapplication, this dissertation puts forward fieldwork management system innovativelyon the basis of the advanced, scientific fieldwork management theories andexperiences home and abroad in the first chapter. The chapter2of the articleintroduces worksite management concept, methods and theories. Some methods like"5S"activities, customized management, visual management and continuousimprovement. The chapter3mainly describes management status of the company ofThyssen and the analysis of exiting problems. The chapter4is the most importantchapter of this paper. This chapter has two cores, one is the site of the logisticsplanning; the other is the research of management improvement. So the paper designsthe program of spot management improvement and site logistics. The site logistics planning program is designed which is based on the Thyssen company developmentneeds as well as product inventory turns-site and storage management situation. Thepaper carried out the accounting and analysis of relevant data. Site managementimprovement is carried through several different implementations of the "5S"activities."5S" activities are able to improve exciting problems fully and completelythat is related to the whole work and employee. The results of improvement should bemaintained by continuous improvement. After the implementation of above twoprograms, continuous improvement must be planned to develop standardization andthen to become the enterprise culture. This paper puts forward the continuousimprovement scheme and suggestion system.
