| With the advancement of technology and the upgrading of industrial structure, the services sector in the economic development of countries is becoming more and more important. Especially since the 1990s, the process of liberalization of trade in services has accelerated noticeably, transnational investment focus moves quickly from manufacturing to services. After the war, the United States as one of the world’s leading economies, its overall economic strength and foreign trade level is in a position of world leader, especially since the 1990s,the strength of the U.S. service sector improves quickly,the rapid development of service trade and foreign investment has made an important contribution to the development of the U.S. economy, as well as provided a useful reference for other country’s economic development.This paper firstly studies the development of the U.S. foreign direct investment of service sector, including the overall situation of the past 30 years’ experiences,industry composition and regional distribution;Secondly, it studies interpretation of the U.S. foreign direct investment of service sector in the development factors,by empirical analysis and utility analysis to get the relative importance of factors affecting the U.S. service sector foreign direct investment; Next, based on the development of foreign direct investment in the U.S. service sector, the impact factor and the market entry mode to explain why the United States enters the market in a way of mergers and acquisitions;Finally, as the United States is China’s utilization of foreign capital, its service sector to enter the China market can bring positive and anegative impacts on the domestic economy, therefore, in the conclusion it will simply put forward to attractting investment and promoting our own industrial development and other aspects of policy recommendations.As the most biggest foreign direct investment country and the most mature country in FDI, the study of the U.S. service sector in foreign direct investment can not only provide a development path for the development of China’s service industry in foreign direct investment, but also for China’s absorption of the United States FDI in Service areas. |
