The implement of the undergraduate village official system has brought a good social effect. But there are still some problems need to be solved. Take the re-employment after expiration of undergraduate village officials for example. How to promote the healthy and sustainable development of the undergraduate village official system is driven mainly by leading the orderly re-employment after expiration. Therefore the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the CPC put forward five ways out after expiration as listed:remain in village office, choosing to be a civil servant, entrepreneurship, re-employment, pursuing advanced studies. As one of the five ways out, re-employment accounts not only one-fifth because of the rarely part of these village officials can really hold an office in villages. Despite the preferential policies, choosing to be a civil servant or a graduate student still has fierce competition. Entrepreneurship, however, is more difficult. If one is lacking of boldness and management brain, he stands little chance of success. And yet the end point of pursuing advanced studies is employment. So relatively speaking, the choice of re-employment is more widely, less competitive and more realistic. But in the practice process, re-employment is more difficult, started late and progressed slowly. This work still lays in exploring stage, given where things are. And there are still some significant restrains:on the one hand, the undergraduate village official system has its own problem, which is characterized by ability panic, psychological factors, matter of face and so on. On the other hand, the policy supports given to the system are imperfect and lack of effective guiding and guarantee mechanism. The undergraduate village officials are faced with a crucial decision standing in one of their life’s crossroads when facing re-employment. The successfulness is vitally connected with their own various conditions. Actions speak louder than words, the successfulness has enjoyed a dose of guiding of organizations, policy supports and social concern. Consequently, it is important to start with three aspects:reinforce guiding in depth, induce inner motivation. Firstly, viewed in reinforcing guiding from organization, organization and personnel department should strengthen education, cultivating and personnel agency. Secondly, from inducing inner motivation’s perspective, undergraduate village officials need to be prepared for ideology, awareness and capability. Thirdly, from this point, optimizing and integrating resources, township party committee should provide enterprise novitiates, elect posts and offer service supports.Through thematic investigation, this thesis deeply analyses current situation of the re-employment of undergraduate village officials, combs existing difficulties and problems carefully, brings forward targeted, exercisable and practical countermeasures and proposals. Finally, further broaden the undergraduate village official flow channel and facilitate its benign and stable development.
