To Study On Tourism Development Policy In Luangprabang Province Of Laos

Tourism is the world’s largest industrial sector which affirms sustainable,rapid and achievable development prospects on21^stcentury. As the tourismindustry plays an important role dealing with poverty alleviation, job opportunitycreation, home-exported promotion as well as contribution to national economicand social development. The tourism industry growth is stimulating crucially foroverall economic growth in the region, in particular Lao economy as well.Therefore, Lao government continuously facilitates and promotes thecomprehensive development of tourism environment in order to achieve nationalsocial-economic development and contribute growth. In Luang Prabang province,tourism has also been contributing to economic development by driving to improveconstruction of local roads, communications and other infrastructures developed. Itsupplements employment opportunities to shift from poor status to overall goodquality of living condition. The Research aims to assess whether the tourism sectorhave been supported well both in practice and policy development in LuangPrabang province. Furthermore, it attempts to find out issues in Luang Prabangtourism how it overcomes forward poverty reduction. Finally, the alternative policyimplication might be suggested in order to implement a tourism industrydevelopment sustainably and effectively.
