Research On The Poverty Reduction Effect Of The Three Industries In Shanxi Province

The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly stated that we need to win the battle against precision poverty alleviation,which is closely related to the ability to build a well-off society and achieve the first century goal.In more than 40 years of reform and opening up,China's poverty alleviation cause has achieved world-renowned achievements.The number of poor people has decreased significantly,their income has increased significantly,and poverty has improved.However,China's poverty reduction rate has been slowing down,and regional poverty issues have become prominent.How to improve the poverty reduction effect has become an important issue that has been concerned.In recent years,the development of the industry has provided more jobs for the poor,greatly increased the income of the poor,and played an irreplaceable role in reducing poverty.Therefore,this article will analyze the relationship between the three industrial developments and poverty reduction from the meso level of economic growth to maximize the role of industrial development in reducing poverty.This article mainly applies the literature research method,statistical analysis method and econometric analysis method to study the impact of industrial development in Shanxi Province on poverty reduction.Specifically,first of all,by sorting out the research theories of poverty and industrial development,and theoretically analyzing the impact of the three industrial developments on poverty reduction,laying a theoretical foundation for subsequent empirical analysis.Secondly,using statistical analysis to analyze the industrial development and poverty status of Shanxi Province,it is obtained that: the output value of the three major industries in Shanxi Province has shown a steady upward trend,and the tertiary industry has gradually become the main driving force for Shanxi's economic development and the main way to absorb employment;The task of alleviating poverty in Shanxi Province is still arduous,and it is a difficult battle to fight poverty.Finally,the panel data of 10 prefecture-level cities in Shanxi Province from 2009 to 2018 were used to conduct an empirical analysis of the relationship between the three industrial developments and poverty reduction.It was found that the development of various industries in Shanxi Province had a positive effect on poverty reduction,but The poverty reduction effect is the largest,followed by the primary industry,and the poverty reduction effect of the secondary industry is the smallest.Further precise the research object to the 36 poverty alleviation and development key counties with the most poverty representatives to conduct an empirical analysis of poverty reduction in industrial development.It is found that the primary industry has the largest poverty reduction effect,and the tertiary industry development has the second largest poverty reduction effect.The secondary industry has the smallest effect in reducing poverty.Compared with the empirical results of prefecture-level cities,it can be seen that the poverty reduction effect of the tertiary industry development in the more developed regions is higher than the poverty reduction effect of the primary industry.On the contrary,in areas with slightly slower economic development,the development of the primary industry The role of poverty alleviation is greater.Therefore,the rational use of the effects of the three industrial developments on poverty reduction is particularly important.The following four suggestions are specifically put forward:rational planning of poverty reduction industries,accelerated development of labor-intensive tertiary industries,vertical extension of the primary industry value chain,and orderly acceptance of Second industry transfer.
