Performance Status Of Poverty Relief & Development Through Rural Tourism As Well As Upgrading Countermeasures

The report of the nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China considers poverty alleviation work as an important part of improving people's livelihood and innovating social governance.Poverty,as a complex social feature which is related to all aspects of society,has been restricting the balanced development of our society.So the party and the government has always taking strategic deployment and measures to alleviate poverty.In recent years,with the economic and social development,new ideas and methods of poverty alleviation have been put forward.Particulaily,developing rural tourism to alleviate poverty,with its strong comprehensiveness,extensive correlation,long industrial chain and sustainability characteristics,becomes the most popular solution among poverished areas.In many areas with rich tourism resources,the poverty alleviation work by developing rural tourism is carried out in full swing.However,is rural tourism effective? What are the factors influencing the effct of rural tourism? How to develope rural tourism to alleviate poverty and improve the effct in the future? Understanding and solving these problems are of great practical significance to the sustainable development of rural tourism industry in our country's poverty-stricken areas,as well as to the realization of getting rid of poverty for both local finance and residents.This thesis firstly analyzes and summarizes the domestic and foreign researches on alleviating poverty by rural tourism and its effctc evaluation,expounds the related concepts of poverty alleviation by rural tourism,and states its feasibility on the ground of "Effect management".Secondly,it constructs the effect evaluation index system of rural tourism in theory,and mainly expounds the connotation and characteristics of rural tourism poverty alleviation effect,the importance of rural tourism poverty alleviation effect evaluation and types of rural tourism poverty alleviation effect evaluation.Thirdly,taking writer's hometown Songyang as a sample,where he lives and works,this paper analyzes the current situation of rural tourism poverty alleviationbased on researching in the field,organzing documents and analyzing some case,The paper also puts forward six factors that influence the effect and relevant suggestions on how to improve the effect of rural tourism poverty alleviation in Songyang County from three aspects according to its actual situation and the problems so as to provide theoretical reference for other poverty-stricken areas.
