A Study On The Disparity Of Inbound Tourism Scale In Shandong Province

Due to the differences in resource endowments, regional conditions, the level ofeconomic development and related support factor, unbalance in regional tourism development wasa norm state. So analyzing these differences in detail will have great significance in guidance ofrational development of regional tourism, and enhancement of overall competitiveness of tourism.Inbound tourism, as an important part of economic activity, also had problem in balance ofregional development, and had been widely concerned by scholars.Shandong Province, as one of the important provinces in the eastern coast of China, hasrich in tourism resources. In recent years, its tourism economy displayed rapid development andplayed an increasingly important role in the economy of Shandong, especially after financial crisisin2008, tourism economy had become a new economic growth point in the national economy.Thus, employing scientific methods to analyze the differences in the scale of inbound tourism of,and proposing strategies to reduce these differences, were the demand of time and inevitablechoice to have a sustainable development of inbound tourism in Shangdong.This thesis was composed by six sections, which were the analysis of spatial andtemporal differences of inbound tourism in Shandong. The concrete contents were as follow:Section Ⅰ: Research background, significances, research methods, technology roadmapand progress review.Section Ⅱ: Basis of theory, such as regional economic development, the size of the bit Section Ⅲ: Using quantitative methods to analyze the spatial and temporal variation ofinbound tourism in Shangdong.Section Ⅳ: Utilizing the theories on the urban geography to analyze the conditions ofrank-scale in inbound tourism of Shangdonand employing ordered differences to weight thedifference in the degree of development of inbound tourism to regional differences.Section Ⅴ: Analyzing the main factors producing the differences of inbound tourism.And proposing appropriate measures on the basis of above analysis.Section Ⅵ: Conclusions, possible innovations and further research directions.Built framework of the inbound tourism-scale differences in Shandong Province, underthe guidance of the theory of regional economic differences, as well as the size of the bit sequencetheory, the process of change of the Shandong Province of inbound tourism economic differences,spatial and temporal evolution of factors affecting the depth and systematic research. summarizesthe law of development of inbound tourism in Shandong Province, and actively explore thepromotion of inbound tourism coordinated development factors, and hope to provide theoreticaland practical basis for the development of scientific and rational development of tourism strategyand sustainable development of toursim.
