Especially, the "economic sequela" of export-driven economy for improving the development of the GDP like as China, should be under control as soon as possible. And from current situation, the basic characteristic of energy and resources in China is "low per-capita quantity of mineral resources". According the report from CAGS by the latest, all mineral resources are under strain except the coal. From the economic development speed and resources use strength in our country, China will face the serious issues that resources including petroleum and natural gas are likely to be in short supply in the next30years.The development and utilization of resources are not only related to the health of the Chinese economic operation, but also the sustainable development of ecological environment. More cruel reality is that many resources international prices are not fixed by our country for a long time, causing the value losing of resource in our country, however, the argument of "China resources threat theory" is inexplicably warming. So the discussion that the resources and environmental protection and ecological problem is particularly important.This paper is on the basis of the material flow analysis method to study China resources and environmental protection and ecological trade issues. International trade is not only showing that the currency of the surplus or deficit outside, but also implying the ecological resources flow behind actually. For example, trade products need water, land, energy, mineral and other ecological resources. When we use them, they will emit various polluting waste at the same time, resulting in different degree of environmental impact. For a long time, only using the monetary method to evaluate international trade and environment pollution is single-faceted. Surplus in monetary method maybe implied ecological capital losses that can not be displayed. We should evaluate trade and sustainable development from the ecological elements view.At first, by comparing the difference between the gap in quality and money gap to proof that using the material flow analysis method to the study of ecological trade is more scientific. And expounding the basic principle of material flow and hide material flow, and the material flow analysis is the one of the method of researching the hydrostatic material, It’s the measurement standard for physical input, storage and output, used to describe the material flow condition of a national economic operation process. Material flow analysis is the sustainable development quantitative research methods which based on the physical accounting in comprehensive environment economic accounting, it can describe the cost to ecological environment in the open economy system.According to the material flow calculation method to statistics and arrange Chinese main material flow data, through analyzing material flow of the China trade in1990-2009, to prove that imported material flow is generally larger than export material flow after1998, there are double surplus in material flow and monetary. The main reason is the export material hidden flow is greater than the imported material hidden flow, it shows that the cost of resource and environment in trade is extremely high. Quote concept of the trade material dependency, to reflect the status of the trade interdependence is the key factors that effect export material flow. Discuss the ecological condition is not only related to the import and export commodities trade, but also the commodity value. So we should pay attention to the commodity structure optimization. By analysing trade environmental factor to show that trade environment impact mainly are closely related to export dependence.On the basis of the material flow analysis method, analysing the Chinese primary products in trade material flow in1980-2009. Since the reform and opening period, the net exports that the data between the exports and imports of primary products is positive, and the date is amplifying and having the u-shaped curve trend. From the view of the primary products structure, inedible raw materials is net imports, and the fuel is the subject of primary product exports. Imports change from the food into the fuel. From the view of the trade composition, China is on the way of the economic transition, and the resources from overseas in the period. Trade structure is different between areas, the areas of primary product import is mainly Asia, Oceania, Latin America and Africa.Finally, thinking about the present the material flow trade on the basis of the material flow analysis. Argue the "China resources threat theory". We should consider more about Chinese resources security and food security problems, when we import resource and primary products. In the process of investment foreign promotion, we should prevent foreign investment occupying our county land resources. Put the proposal that adjust the industrial structure and improve the resources utilization rate according the industrialization expansion time in China.
