China’s accession to the World Trade Organization in10years, the global tradedevelops rapidly in the world; as far as South Africa, close to India, and the tradeexchanges have become increasingly frequent, the country through value added tax incommodity trade increases national income; in this process the bank has been nationaltax collection role; J Bank Global trade system the original collect value added taxfunction is composed of customers calculate value added tax manually and then inputin system; in the trade is increasingly frequent, the volume of trade increasinglyenlarges today, the original calculation method has become unable to meet thedemand of new situation; change the original system, the transformation of valueadded tax for automatically calculating, reduce labor cost, improve work efficiency,power the development of banking business represents the general trend.In the process of upgrading J Bank the old system, coordinate differentlanguages, different cultural background staff work together to deliver tasks on time,assure the quality, the successful experience is a positive demonstration significanceto develop similar projects. It is worthy of further study.Study finds, mature management theory needs modern management methods asa support to play a practical role. J Bank Global trade system value-added tax project,providing global trade system value added tax the automatic calculation function,with business logic complexity, short cycle, big workload, high precisioncharacteristics. In order to effectively control the project schedule, take the followingmethods: first, development of project scope, project cycle; second, development of project schedule, divided into the system analysis, system design, code, test fourstages, each stage will draw the WBS chart and WBS table decompose tasks, finally,using network analysis theory to find the critical path and critical works; third, theimplementation of the project schedule; fourth, control the project schedule plan.Value added tax project in the first, second stages, there is no difference in methodcomparing with the general project, but in third stage through the introduction ofJIRA as the project schedule management tool, to meet the project manager on theproject schedule control. All project works in JIRA need to bemaintained correspondingly tasks, a JIRA work will encounter create and assign tasksto responsible person, assessment tasks, to accept the task time, entry, complete,spend time confirmation of seven phases, a perfect simulation of the development tocomplete the tasks of a life cycle, through the acquisition of information produced bythe various statements can facilitate project manager at higher levels of thearrangement of the whole project to carry out, ensure project finish on schedule.JIRA as a project management tool, the application in project management onlyuse in J such multinational banks, in the domestic banking project rarely to be used.JIRA as a project management tool not only has the features of information timelyand accurately, but also free, open source, all of these decide its easy maintenance,low operation cost. The persons who master JIRA as project management tool will bein a better position in the future market competition.
