Border trade is a special kind of international trade, traditionaleconomic geography and trade theory suggests that. Because of theexistence of the border, consumers or producers away from themarket lead to increasing transportation costs, which will improvethe consumer goods price, thereby limiting the scope of the marketborder areas and the number of consumers will turn border areasinto the desert of the economic growth, that is to say, the outlyingareas of the center - periphery structure. The new economicgeography thinks that the decline of the border trade transportationcosts will attract producers and consumers concentrated in theborder area, which enhance the freedom mobility of goods andfactors, and thus form the agglomeration benefits and promote thedevelopment of the market integration process. Meanwhile, in the role of increasing of scale remuneration, some advantages of theagglomeration in the border areas will be strengthened, and themode of division of labor between regions can be formed. thiscycle cumulative result of border areas will further attractproducers and consumers to focus on the border region, andgradually form several border economic "growth pole", andinfluence radiation and a range of hinterland, thus spur on theeconomic and trade development of border areas. At present, the research of issues of effect of border trade, theregional logistics, the transportation integration and cross-bordersub-regional economic cooperation has been extensive and deep. However, these three aspects in the theory and practice are notisolated, in the border trade, the most important issue of the borderfrom the "shield effect" to "intermediate effect" in the border tradeis to reduce the cost of cross-border transport, regional transportand logistics integration can resolve to reduce the cost oftransportation within the region, cross-border sub-regionaleconomic cooperation can solve the problem of cross-border. Inview of that, this paper based on the points of three issues namely, reduce transportation costs. To promote border trade as a startingpoint of research, cross-border sub-regional research space, logistics and transport integration as research framework to form a"multi- center structure" to narrow and coastal economicdevelopment gap for research purposes, international and regionaleconomic integration as the background , the new economicgeography - spatial economics as the theoretical basis, throughthe analysis of the logistics cost structure of border trade in costalprovinces in China, and the comparative analysis of the totallogistics costs before and after the integration, put forward the ideaof the core cities of the cross-border sub-regional transportlogistics and integration: First, determine the logistics andtransport ; Secondly, construct the regional border crossingssystem; Thirdly, fabricate the regional cross-border tradetransportation channel. And we take the example of NortheastChina - Russia, Xinjiang - Kazakhstan, Yunnan - Burma, Guangxi -Vietnam cross-border sub-regional transport and logisticsintegration, to carry out the practical exploration. Eventually formthe logistics and transport networks "of the core“hub - hub - bordercrossings”, reduce the logistics transport costs and the total cost ofborder trade, promote the development upgrade of Chinesetraditional border trade to modern commerce, and modernlogistics, and spur on all-round and rapid development of border provinces and autonomous regions economy, to narrow the gap withthe coastal areas, which is conducive to national security , stabilityin border areas and national unity of China.
