| The present era is knowledge economy era. The competition of scientific and technological enterprises is the competition of technology, capital and talent. Talent is the key to the development of this kind of the enterprise. The questions regarding how to retain and how to best utilize talent are not only the key academic research target but also the primary mission of human resource management in scientific and technological enterprises.In this paper, the brain drain in Chengdu BY Technology Co., Ltd was studied, from the angle of the administration of human resources, by means of report investigation, question inquiry and interviews, based on the theories of talents flow and models of the drain, and the analysis of the current reports of research achievements of the drain. This paper is divided into six chapters. In the preface, it introduces the background, research significance, object of study, thinking and methodology. In the first chapter, the classic theories and models of the drain were summarized after the concept of the talents, the talents flow, and the talent flight were defined, aimed at providing the theoretical supports for the research. In the second chapter, the current status, characteristics and the consequences brought to the drain of talents in Chengdu BY Technology Co.,Ltd were analyzed. In the third chapter, the main reasons for the drain talents in the enterprise were analyzed. In the fourth chapter, the strategies were put forward for preventing the drain of talents in the BY enterprise. At last, the conclusions were summarized for the full text.The basic conclusions in this paper are as follows:1. the brain drain of Chengdu BY Technology Co.,Ltd has the characteristics:as far as the degrees are concerned, the employees with degrees of masters or bachelors are the majority of the flight talents; as far as the ages are concerned, the young people are the majority; as far as the flowing regions are concerned, the coastal cities are the majority; as far as the pathway of the drain, job-hopping becomes the main way. The talent drain resulted in the increase of cost; the halt of scientific activities; the shortage of talents in high rank; the drain of invisible possessions; the halt of research team development; the drawback of construction of research workers.2. The main factors affecting the brain drain of the enterprise exist in the low income; the dim prospect of development; the poor conditions of working; lack of training, exchanges and further studies; and the incomplete mechanism of performance appraisal.3. The main strategies for preventing the brain drain of the company are:design fair and reasonable and attractive policies of salary and pay; strengthen the training and career planning for employees; improve the mechanism of performance appraisal; establish the early warning administration system of the brain drain; build an attractive and cohesive corporate culture. |
