It’s showed that the effective human resources management (HRM) contributes to corporation competitive advantage by modern management theory and practice. Performance Management is the core of modern HRM. With the open of banking markets and stress of increased competition among the banks, domestic commercial banks enhance its performance by effective performance management. At present, some commercial banks focus on changing from extensive management to systematic management to improve the performance of banks.The thesis focuses on E-banking department of MinSheng Banking Chengdu branch. Based on Chengdu Branch’s development strategy and situation of E-banking department, the thesis designed performance management system by key performance indicators (KPI), balanced scorecard (BSC) and 360-degree performance appraisal, and Six Sigma management. The thesis consists of five parts:The first part outlines the paper’s background, significance, idea, structure, and proposes the paper’s innovation—a combination of Six Sigma methods and performance management.The second part mainly introduces idea, method and process of modern performance management. And it explores the theoretical basis for performance management.The third part analyzes the performance management in e-banking department of Chengdu branch. There are two sectors, including basic information of e-banking department and situation of performance management. These background analyses are for the establishment of performance management system.The fourth part is the key part of this paper. Based on the preceding analysis, this paper has set up a scientific and feasible performance management program for e-banking department.The fifth part is the conclusion of the paper, for the evaluation of the performance management system.
