With the global economy developing and production technology updatingcontinuously, for the manufacturing companies, every factory is faced with the globalmarket competition which is continuous variable and can not be fully predicted. Facingwith these challenges, most enterprises will gradually embark on many varieties and smallbatch production. At the same time, taking into account the efficiency and flexibility formany varieties and small batch production, cell manufacturing production comes into being.Critical Chain Project Management (Critical Chain Project Management, of CCPM) is anew, revolutionary way of thinking can effectively shorten the construction period, increasethe ability of projects to meet schedule and budget constraints. The CCPM First accordingto the technical constraints of the project activities (processes) to make the project networkdiagram, and then consider the project activities by resource constraints (such as labor,construction machinery, etc.), make the necessary adjustments to get the initial progress ofthe project network diagram sustained the longest line is the project’s critical chain (Criticalchain)(the Initial schedule) Scheme, the initial schedule, the last to halve the duration of allproject activities (processes), in accordance with a particular method of calculating savetime in the form of buffer added to the schedule. Practice has proved that the critical chainproject management for the entire system to increase resource utilization, reduce in-processinventory, reducing the movement of materials costs, increase productivity, increase systemflexibility and other advantages.In-depth analysis of complex manufacturing status quo on the basis of details of thekey technologies in the process of multi-project planning and scheduling of complexproducts-complex products and manufacturing engineering work breakdown structuretheory.
