Facing the complex domestic and international environment, to maintain thesteady growth of China’s foreign trade, we have to strengthen the foreign tradedevelopment mode transformation and upgrading, and enhance capacity forsustainable development of it. The high-level foreign personnel have an importantposition and role in China’s foreign trade. But at present, the relative lack ofhigh-level foreign personnel, introduction and cultivation of their work is not perfect.So it is more meaningful for the evaluation research of high-level foreign personnel.First, this paper summarizes the theory basis of the high-level foreign tradepersonnel evaluation. It introduces the related concepts of talents, and the talentevaluation theory. It finally makes a simple introduction of the entropy method andstructure equation model.Secondly,this text have analyzed the market demand of high-level foreign tradepersonnel, and we have described the quality characteristics of high-level foreigntrade personnel; then built the evaluation index system of high-level foreign tradepersonnel by entropy method. The evaluation index system of high-level foreign tradepersonnel in this text is based upon analysis about the demand status and qualitycharacteristics of high-level foreign trade personnel. By means of online research anddata collection, gather and sift element of evaluation index system of high-levelforeign trade personnel, and on that basis, confirm the index system. In the end, wehave figured the index weight and evaluate result of this index system by entropymethod. It just to insure the scientific and veracity of this index system.Finally, in allusion to the valuation index system of high-level foreign tradepersonnel built in this text, we have taken positive analysis of this index system usingstructural equation model. Above all, build the concept model and research hypothesisof the empirical research the valuation index system of high-level foreign tradepersonnel. And then gather data with questionnaire, and carry descriptive statisticanalysis, reliability analysis and validity analysis to the survey data, to make surewhether the data have certain reliability and validity. At last, verify this model usingAMOS7.0software, obtain the index of data fitting, showing that, the degree of fittingof this model is well. The evaluation index system of high-level foreign tradepersonnel built in this text is able to reflect the construct characteristics of theevaluation of high-level foreign trade personnel clearly.
