The Development Research Of China’s Bancassurance Under The Financial Holding Company Model

Since the 20th century, the mixing management of financial industry has become an international trend. Many countries take all kinds of measures and come out various bills to promote the development of financial industry, and to improve the overall competitiveness. China has joined the WTO for more than ten years, inevitably will be affected and shocked by the large international trend. In order to connect with the international trend phase, and constantly improve the comprehensive competitiveness of China’s financial industry, the mixing management has become a necessary choice of domestic financial industry.Bancassurance is just a form of the mixing management. It is taken by the banks or insurance companies as the integration of the business strategy, which requires both sides to integrate in the channel, products, technology and culture and so on. So, how can we develop the bancassurance better? That is what are the factors affecting the development of bancassurance? In my opinion, the cooperation pattern plays a crucial role. Common has four patterns: the sales agreement, strategic alliance, the Venture Company and financial holding company. The cooperation depth is gradually deepened. The financial holding company mode is the most emerging, and its development in our country is just in the start stage. There will be a large research value both in theory and practice.This paper is dedicated to study the bancassurance under the financial holding company model, and mainly adopts the combination of theory and empirical analysis method and the contrast analysis method. There are five chapters: chapter 1 is the introduction part, mainly includes the research background, the research purpose and meaning, research summary and framework arrangement and the main research contents, etc; chapter 2 focus on the moving and influencing factors of bancassurance, also introduced the models of foreign country’s bancassurance and their revelation; chapter 3 analyzed the progress and current situation of our country’s bancassurance, also forecasted the trend of our country’s bancassurance model; chapter 4 is the SWOT analysis of the financial holding company model, it also is the empirical analysis of the bancassurance under the financial holding company model; chapter 5 is the countermeasures about the development of bancassurance under the financial holding company model. Through the analysis of the full text, hope to provide certain reference about the health development of the bancassurance.
