Research On Evaluation Of The Innovation Capability Of Industrial Cluster

In the background of economic globalization, because of its special competitiveadvantage the industrial cluster had become the inevitable trend of development ofindustry in the world, the innovation ability of industrial cluster was the importantfactor that made the industrial cluster keep sustainable competitive advantage andrealize sustainable development. At present, there were still many problems in theinnovation of industrial cluster in China, it can not effectively keep the sustainablecompetitive advantage of the industrial cluster. Therefore, how to improve theinnovation capability of the industrial cluster, keep the long-term competitive advantageof the industrial cluster and realize the sustained development of the industrial cluster,these had become the hot issue of research.In this paper, it expounded the theory of industrial cluster and industrial clusterinnovation, combined with the present situation and the existing problems of industrialcluster innovation in China, analyzed the relationship between the innovation capabilityof industrial cluster and development of industrial cluster, and on this basis, through therelevant document research, it analyzed the main influence factors of innovationcapability of industrial cluster. According to these factors the evaluation index system ofindustrial cluster was established, the appropriate method was selected to build theevaluation model of the innovation capability of industrial cluster in accordance withthe characteristics of the innovation capability of industrial cluster. It included thefollowing three parts: First, the influence factors of innovation capability of industrialcluster were analyzed, these factors were: the technology innovation ability ofenterprise, the overall technical level of enterprises in the cluster, the network innovation capability of industrial cluster, innovation environment and innovationperformance, and according to these influencing factors, the evaluation index system ofinnovation capability of industrial cluster was established, there were twenty evaluationindex in the evaluation index system. Secondly, because the evaluation of innovationcapability of industrial cluster was the multi index comprehensive evaluation problem,the principal component analysis was selected to build the evaluation model ofinnovation capability of industrial cluster in this paper. Finally, combined with theinnovation status of Baoji petroleum equipment industrial cluster, the evaluation modelof innovation capability of industrial cluster was applied, its validity and feasibilitywere verified.Through this research, on the one hand, it had reference value for research onevaluation of innovation capability of industrial cluster in the later; the other hand,through the research of evaluation of innovation capability of industrial cluster, it couldfind out the existing problems in the innovation process. It had important practicalsignificance for improving the innovation capability of industrial cluster and promotingthe development of industrial cluster.
