The use of remote sensing technique in tectonics develops fast and is a successful area in geosciences applications. With the deeply and widely application of remote sensing and the increasingly demand on the image processing standard,the information extraction of image has therefore become a hot domain for research. This paper has priority research on image processing methods and linear structures informational abstraction incorporation with insight clearly the remote sensing image of region of interest.This paper was primarily conducted to probe into the method of extruding structure information ,discuss the means of edge detection, extract and interpretat structure information when sing Landsat7 ETM+ images with ENVI4.0 and VC++. The principles and technical methods of some popular image processing methods that include Image sharpening,Space information extruding,PCA transform are first described and analyzed,then on the basis of this some kinds of experiment fit to situation of region of interest have been put forward,and by the numbers induction, summarize the best,compare with the field survey results,extrude and interpret structure information of the whole.After experiment and research,we have conclusions as following:1. Combination of Image segmentation,Image smoothness,edge detection is effectual in extruding structure information and feasible to the region of interest.2.Define the interpreting characteristic of Fault,Ring-shaped Structure.3. 252 Linear structure,in which 15 great,237 small.95% same with the field survey results,5% new;28 ring-shaped structure,3 first grade,16 second grade,9 rock.4.Place where meet great fault,volcano,actinomorphic fault at the same time is the likely region of mine.In region of interest, forecast there are four:Xiaocaijia hamlet, Taipusi county,Dazhujuan and Banbudong hamlet.
