The servo technology for cutting in fixed-length is widely applied in the field ofcorrugated packaging, CNC machining and sheet processing with its advantages of highaccuracy, good following and so on. With the continuous improvement of productionsmanufacturing efficiency and precision requirement, the requirement of its servo driver higherperformance also increases. In such demand, it is necessary for technical staff to be engagedin doing some research for improving servo system performance.Firstly, this issue describes the structure of servo system in detail. Compared with thehardware design mode of a single processor and discrete components to build the peripheraldigital circuit, the hardware design mode with MCU+FPGA can greatly reduce the processorburden and the complexity of peripheral digital circuit.The FPGA mainly completes theposition loop design, frequency multiplication and checking phase design, the ARM mainlyachieves the speed loop and current loop design. The communication between FPGA andARM uses dual-port RAM to finish datas exchangement. Secondly, it made the derivation ofthe speed loop and current loop based on vector transformation, and made a analysis withmathematical model of position loop, speed loop and current loop. For the industrial field’scomplex environment, much interference as well as the system itself nonlinear problem, theissue discusses the application of fuzzy algorithm based on the parameters’ adaptive controlin the speed loop of three loops servo structure, at the same time, feed-forward proportionalcontrol algorithm is applied to the more important position loop, and it is used MATLAB tomade a further simulation, the result appears that it can improve system performanceobviously. All about these lay a solid foundation for the servo software implementation andsystem performance improvement. The software design finishes vector control algorithm, anduses the C language to achieve MODBUS protocol to finish the servo drivers’ communicationwith the host computer. In the end, the inertia of servo system is a more important parameter,on the control card speed curve method, it is further elaborated in another way to obtainmoment inertia.Given to the complexity of the servo driver technology, there are many aspects to bestudied to improve the system performance. The current work is paving the way for laterfurther study of the servo driver technology. In short, the domestic and foreign market ofhigh-performance servo technology still is large, at the same time, the servo technologyprospects of application is good.
