In multivariable and strongly coupled nonlinear system research field, chaos analysis,chaos control and chaos synthesis are challenging frontier topics. Chaos has somecharacteristics distinguishing from noise interference and other phenomena: In spite ofseemingly random, chaos has intrinsic stability; Chaos is sensitive to system’s initialcondition; Chaos is different according to system parameters’ changing. It is research focusthat analysis system’s chaos phenomena, effectively controlling and eliminating harmfulchaos, maintain or generating useful chaos.This paper mainly conducted analysis and research for control theory and method ofchaos system. Based on comprehensive analysis on existing chaos control theory and methods,researching fuzzy control strategy and time-delayed feedback control strategy in theapplication of system control. The contents are as follows:1. Fuzzy control of chaos in direct-driven permanent magnet synchronous generators(D-PMSG) for wind turbines. In order to control chaos in direct-driven permanent magnetsynchronous generators, using fuzzy control method, basing on system structure analysis,through analysis and transformation on system mathematical model, designing fuzzy-PIcontroller, then getting effective chaos control. Simulation analysis by Simulink tool inMATLAB software, the simulation results show that the control strategy is reasonable andfeasible.2. Chaos Synthesis of Asynchronous Motor by Time-Delayed State Variable Feedback.In order to realize chaos synthesis in running process of three-phase AC asynchronous motor,using the method of differential geometry theory of nonlinear systems and time-delayedfeedback control, through simplified analysis on the model of three-phase AC asynchronousmotor, designing the chaos synthesis controller is based on deriving the exact linearizationapproach by state feedback of nonlinear control theory to realize chaos synthesis, then gettingthe chaos synthesis when asynchronous motor running with this controller. Simulationanalysis by Simulink tool in MATLAB software, the simulation results show that thetime-delayed state variable feedback method designed controller implementing chaossynthesis of asynchronous motor is feasible and the control result is satisfied.
