Research On Protection Strategy Of Yunnan Dai People’s Mian Archives

Dai people’s Mian archives reflect an important and indispensable part of the Dai people’s producing and living. It has high and important research value. However, the situation of Dai people’s Mian archives’conservation is not optimistic. In this thesis, based on the present situation, I study the carrier, durability, impact factors, conservation conditions of Yunnan Dai people’s Mian archives, and put forward appropriate protection strategies.This article includes a total of five parts:Chapter1, introduction, discussed the research background, significance, review, methods, content and related definition. Chapter2, carriers of Yunnan Dai people’s Mian archives, mainly discussed the history, raw materials, workmanship of Mian paper. Chapter3, the durability influencing factors of Yunnan Dai people’s Mian paper, discussed the carriers, writing and making process of Mian paper;and analyzed the durability of Mian paper by testing. Chapter4, the conservation conditions of Yunnan Dai people’s Mian archives, analyzed and discussed from three aspects-environmental,social and managerial aspects. Chapter5, the protection strategy of the Yunnan Dai people’s Mian archives, put forward feasible policies and technical measures to protect the Mian archives.Now, there are very few research on protection of Yunnan Dai people’s Mian archives. The research focus primarily on the Pattra Culture, Pattra scripture and the manufacturing process of Dai people’s Mian paper. The field of protection of Dai people’s Mian archives is empty. In fact,the number of Dai people’s Mian archives is very large, so this study to some extent, to fill this gap and provide effective protection strategies of protection of Dai people’s Mian archives for its high research value. Research on protection of Dai people’s Mian archives, on the one hand, conducive to effective management and use of literature resources, play an important scientific value; On the other hand, it can also be a positive interaction with traditional handmade paper art, improve the development of the unique Dai culture.
