Wireless sensor networks is a network system for data transmission by wirelesscommunication. The system is composed of a large number of sensor nodes based on selforganization form.At present, the wireless sensor network is mainly used in military, environmental monitoring, medical care etc. Due to the characteristics of wireless sensornetworks,it faces many new security threats. Trust model as a supplement to the traditionalsecurity mechanisms, can implement security policy from the higher level. In addition, because of the limited energy resources in wireless sensor networks, saving the node batteriesand prolonging the network lifetime has become another design goal of wireless sensornetworks.Based on the above background, this paper makes a research on the securityproblem and the energy problem of wireless sensor networks. This paper introduces the structure, characteristics and applications of wireless sensornetwork and then focuses on the analysis of the clustering routing protocol and securitymechanism of wireless sensor network, finally, in order to improve the network security andreduce the network energy consumption, and based on the research of reliable clusteringrouting protocol TLEACH (Trusted Low-Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy) protocol, this paper studies the following tasks:(1) A TLEACH protocol based on base station to authenticate the identity of nodes isproposed. This protocol is built up based on TLEACH protocol, utilized Base Station toauthenticate the identity of nodes, combined the identity trust and the behavior trust.MATLAB simulation results show that the scheme can provide better security, compared withthe TLEACH protocol. And security mechanism brings energy is acceptable.(2) An energy-balanced hierarchical cluster routing protocol is proposed. This protocol isbased on the TLEACH protocol, to construct a hierarchical structure in the network, and thefactors of the average energy consumption, residual energy and the total energy areconsidered to adjust the threshold of T(n) in TLEACH, next a competitive mechanism isadded to the election of cluster head. In clusters, The communication is transmitted by the relaynode. MATLAB simulation results show that, compared with the TLEACH protocol, thisprotocol has better on the survival time of the network and load balance improvement.
