Design And Implementation Of Workflow System Based On Web Service

With the rapid development of computer and network, the enterprises also speed up their pace of information construction, on the one hand, the transit of early simple management system to complex enterprise application system, such as MIS、OA、ERP and so on. On the other hand, the enterprise’s information construction also extends from internal local network to internet. The current enterprises’information has four important characteristics, management’s centralized, application’s distributed, low cost of deployment, high efficiency of collaboration and so on. Among them, the system’s core technology of workflow and the modeling of business process can not only realize flexible shift between process and operation, they can also provide convenience to the fusion of many business in the future. Especially in the large enterprises whose organization is complicated and business is wide and personnel is a lot, they need the system has the characteristics of good cross-organization, cross-platform and interoperability. Because Web Service is a new technology which is service-oriented which has nothing to do with the platform and has good openness and interoperability, it gradually becomes the underlying mainstream technology of workflow management system.This topic uses one enterprise’s present informatization situation as the research background, firstly, it analysis and compares the mainstream workflow system’s product and its technology, summing up the advantages and disadvantages, meanwhile it put forward the concept and the solution of workflow system which is based on Web Service. In this paper, it introduces XML analysis and.NET framework technology, sets up system’s data model and control model based on the reality, and it also elaborates the key problems’ solution in the concrete implementation. The practice has proved that the workflow management system based on Web Service can not only increase the efficiency of development greatly, but also provide good data support to enterprise users.
