The magazine "Movie View" was formerly known as "The Film Works". As a content-rich film magazine, it was founded in April12,1980. In1996, the magazine cover cleverly diluted the word "work" and highlighted the word "view". In July,2001, the magazine officially renamed as "Movie View"."Movie View Midnight Field" was successfully established in January2005, and there are three periodicals published in January. And this is the only one in the history of film magazine in China. Because its unique style, the magazine occupied more than half market in the film magazine sector, and the sales are better than" Movie World ". As the No.1sales magazine, it is an indispensable filmed entertainment publication in the film industry. It was not only record the focus of the film industry at home and abroad, was also involved in the development of the film industry as a window.The scope of this study includes four stages, from "Movie View" in1980to "Movie View Midnight Field" in2005, which lasted more than30years. The magazine has been leading the fashion, the amount of information is extremely rich and interesting, to meet the desire of the readers of the latest film culture. In the term of the market share of possession,"Movie View" experienced two revisions and one supplement change and took up the banner of the command of the magazine market to deal with the development of the times. This study tries to explore the survival and development strategy by using the history of the development of the magazine itself as the mainline.This study is mainly divided into six chapters to discuss. Chapter one is the introduction, which describes the purpose, the significance, the status quo, the content and the methods of this study; Chapter two is "The Film Works" stage; Chapter three is see "The Film Works" stage; Chapter four is "Movie View" stage; Chapter five is "Movie View Midnight Field" stage; Chapter six is the analysis of the problems and prospects of the magazine. The study interprets the background of the founding,the positioning of the magazine, the magazine ontology, system reveals the process of transformation of the magazine which from only publish the script to savor, assessment and comment three-in-one comprehensive magazine, and then experience the inseparable relationship between the magazine and Emei Film Group (formerly Emei Film Studio) and the interaction with the development of the film industry.
