In the modern industrial sites, the serious losses of economic and personnel caused by mechanical failure are growing. As in rotating machinery fault detection, most of the site is only using traditional handheld devices, providing random or timing fault detection, which may detect a malfunction, but is not quite perfect, so the real-time monitoring system must be carried out. In the fault detection of large rotating machinery, measurement of the vibration signal has been an important symbol of discrimination, the device will generally have significantly different vibration signal before it has a serious fault which may influence its work. With the upgrading and development of the Internet of Things technology, the concept of Internet of Things gradually has developed into every corner of people’s lives, it is also an entirely new ideas and goals that apply the Internet of Things technology into the real-time online vibration monitoring system. The RFID tag technology based on Internet of Things is applied into construction of the Internet of Things perception layer, in order to achieve the effect of IntelliSense and apply IntelliSense node into every industrial equipment unit.In this paper, based on the Internet of Things ID and WIFI wireless network technology, and considering the shortcomings of the current industrial unit fault detection, in order to achieve early prevention of a large sudden accidents caused by equipment failure, designed and developed a network-aware layer of real-time online vibration Monitoring System, so we can have a real-time grasp about the vibration of the unit, to achieve better preventive effect. This paper mainly includes the following content:In order to establish a sound vibration monitoring system, we made out an overall planning and preliminary design of vibration monitoring system based on Internet of Things, and determined the basic structure with ARM11and WinCE6.0, finished the design of the overall system.The hardware platform of system is constructed. Based on the structure and characteristics of the the ARM11microprocessor (S3C6410), completed the design of each hardware module, including sensor selection, module of data acquisition and pre-processing, storage module, the storage and communication module and so on, and sensor module and data acquisition module are the key which complete the perception of system. Component selection and circuit design of each module is also very detailed, including the connection and communicate between them.The software platform based on WinCE6.0operating system is built. On this basis, we completed the migration of WinCE operating system and some drivers that system requires, such as A/D driver and communication module driver, and carried out detailed program development and features of some drivers, for the normal using in the systemFinally, introduced the feasibility operation of the system as well as the inadequacies, and outlines the operation process of the system for future improvement and development.
