For the question of bearing steel ball cold heading process lack of online monitoring system and working pressure controlled by manual in grinding ball process, and workshop lack of monitoring and control management system, we designed the on-line monitoring and control system of bearing steel ball production based on WiFi and internet of things. System mainly includes cold heading equipment forming quality monitoring system and grinding ball equipment pressure automatic control system and workshop production process monitoring and management system based on WiFi Technology, the process of production can be measured in intelligent, controlled in real-time and non-contact mode with high precision by the system, also the system can improve the quality of steel ball and the production efficiency. And building a management system using WiFi technology, managers can timely grasp the information of workshop production status, equipment operation and steel ball yield.First of all, this paper introduces the source, background and significance of the research topics, emphasis on steel ball processing technological process and main problems of current processing. On the basis of literature review, analyzed the current situation of research at home and abroad, from plastic forming line monitoring, ball equipment automation and WiFi technology. For processing problems, we developed a system plan.Secondly, we designed the three component systems of production process on-line monitoring system ball. The first part designed the on-line monitoring system for cold heading equipment forming quality, through the analysis of cold heading forming process then mathematical model is established. Using a self-learning algorithm to automatically monitor the establishment of production standards and by identifying algorithm to determine the quality of the steel ball in the production process. Complete the design of the system hardware platform and the selection of main functional devices, and the design of HMI and online monitoring system assembly. And we designed the software program to achieve the various functions of the system based on the design of the hardware platform; The second part constructed the ball pressure equipment automatic control system, and analyzed the grinding ball processing process. Complete the selection of main functional devices and the design of HMI. The preparation of grinding ball equipment pressure automatic control program, to achieve the goal of automatic pressure control; The third part designed the workshop production process monitoring and management system based on WiFi Technology. Analyzed the system structure and selected WiFi module, then introduced the parameters of the WiFi module. Through the introduction of networking methods we established STA network mode, and analyzed the realization of the network communication mode in detail and the implementation process of client and server program.Thirdly, this paper analyzed the establishment of the system hardware platform in detail, completed PCB circuit board design and production. Circuit parts include CPU peripheral circuits and JTAG debug circuitry, power supply circuit, serial communication circuit, reset circuit, alarm circuit, HMI circuit, the signal sampling circuit, WiFi module connector circuit and relay output circuits.Finally, we carried on the system debugging under the existing conditions of the workshop and laboratory, verify the reliability of system about the data acquisition, online monitoring, automatic pressure control and wireless transmission.
