| The person can’t do anything without a good credit. The credit has been a nobleness trait of Chinese from the initial history. However, from the1978’s reform and open up to entering into21cetury, the economy development of china has got a huge achievement, peoples’ life level also got a big boost, the credit is facing a more and more seriously test. Form the "corruption and bribery","credit is not","tax evasion", to "cheating in college entrance","academic plagiarism","utility bills in arrears", there are full of "out of credit" deeds in all aspects of the society life, re-advance the credit consciousness has been one of Chinese important topics that is facing. And, the launch of individual credit archives work should be the first important.The earliest individual credit archive originated from the western countries in19century. After more than one hundred years development history, it has been popular in western people’s life, and had a big promotion in credit archives developing. America is the most perfect country in individual credit archive system. According to the two countries’ construction and operating mechanism about individual credit archives, from the Chinese and America individual credit archives definite analysis in origin and current situation, managerial mode, the government function, information collection mechanism, credit products development mechanism, and, evaluation mechanism, risk prevention mechanism, supervision and punishment mechanism etc, sum up the differences in this field of the two countries. Based on this, the author put forward some strategies on development of individual credit archives in China in the future by combining the experience from the USA with the present situation of individual credit archives in China.
