The Reaserch On Taihu County Archives Work

From the point of view of information theory, we know that the essence of the information is the certainty and reliability, and it explains the reason for the archives be an important information resource of human society, as it is determined by its essential attributes—original records. As an important part of the information resources, the archives play various roles, focus on performance in the administrative, business, cultural, legal, education and other aspects. For example, the archives can provide a reference for the political decision-making and certificate; the archives can provide support and protection of information to operational activities; the archives can be historical and cultural heritage; the archives can provide original evidence to resolve legal disputes; the archives can educate the community through the form of exhibitions."Archives Act" stipulates that the archival work of unified leadership, classification management principles, to maintain file integrity and security, ease of use of all sectors of society, and this is our basic principles of archives work. The archives work is characterized by service, culture, management, political and scientific, it can be roughly divided into several parts:archives management, archives administrative work, archival education, archives scientific research work, archives publicity work and archival international cooperation and exchanges. The question of how to maximize the development and utilization of archives information resources, so that the archives full service to the people, let the archives work devoted to the service of socialist material civilization and spiritual civilization construction must be faced by our archivists in the future. At present, with the social informatization to accelerate the computer technology, the popularization and application of network technology and other modern information technology, the open society to continuously promote the democratic process and users of archive service proposed the diversification demand, archives work methods, the traditional knowledge structure of personnel and service concept, has not already satisfy the development reality. In this background, how to take advantage of variable to meet the challenge for our archivists?This paper takes Taihu county archival work as the research object, through field research, find the existing problems and puts forward relevant suggestions, questions, in order to guide, standardize the local archive work from a certain extent, and to enrich and improve our country county city archives based on theory and application of modest contribution.
