Design And Realization Of E-government System Based On MVC

Electronic government has become an important platform connecting governement and the public with the development of information technology and the adoption of creative methods of government work.China has made great progress in the field of E-government, but problems still exist. For example, the current E-government systems are lack of scalability and reusability, they cannot perfectly meet the variable needs of government.According to the above problems, the author focus on the study of architecture of the system and propose using multi-layer structure based on Browser/Server as the main pillar of E-goverment system.The paper includes the main characters of Model-View-Controller pattern and gives an application model by using ASP.NET platform and B/S architecture. The author also takes the E-government system installed by a city’s development zone as an example. The system is divided into web portal and internal office system,after an in-depth research of real demand. The web portal is used to realse information and communicate with the public. It includes several function modules such as image management, templet management, label management, atrical publication.The enternal office system is different from traditional administration patterns. It provide a platform of information dissemination and exchange of different works. The system consists of modules of report submission, weekly planmanagement,personnelrecruitment,usermanagement,units management,director mailbox, online communication and SMS platform. The paper details the design of the E-government system, the apporach of using MVC pattern in the system and the basic rules in different steps.The system not only satisfies the user’s basic demand but also has great advantages of practicability, scalability and stabililty. MVC pattern is introduced into the muti-layer architecture system based on B/S.The system also provide a new method of system design by using ASP.NET. Moreover, the above example offers a reference for the future study of E-government system.
