Following the rapidly evolution of the Mobile Communication Industry, almost completed3G network construction, wider bandwidth of Mobile Communication Network, widely used of intelligent cell phone, the most customers no longer satisfied the traditional Mobile Voice Service anymore. And they are eager for getting more wonderful Value-added Services from SP (Service Provider) and CP (Content Provider). Owing to the saturation of the traditional Mobile Voice Service and the urgently requirement of the Mobile Data Service motivated by the blossom of Mobile Internet, the MNO(Mobile Networks Operator) begin to transform from Mobile Communication Expert to Mobile Information Expert. The appearance of the Mobile Data Service was to follow this historical trend. The Mobile Data Service based on the SMS (Short Message Service), MMS (Multimedia Message Service) and WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) provides various services for the mobile terminal users.The progress of the Mobile Data Service must lead to the diversified data services, which brings about troubles to manage the vast data services for MNO\SP\CP. The IDP3.0(Integrated Data-service Platform3rd Generation) discussed in this paper is designed to convenient for the management of the complex data services for MNO\SP\CP. The IDP3.0 integrates the advantageous resources sufficiently, supplies the basic necessities of life and entertainment for the mobile terminal users, and establishes the Mobile Information Expert image for MNO. It’s also cooperating with the various service characters to provide impeccable service managements and assure all the operational indicators above the average level in the industry.The design aim of the IDP3.0is to be a lightweight framework, which is beneficial to the development of service logic, and fulfills the requirements of data service development. As the processor of the service logic in the IDP3.0, DSP (Data Service Script Processor) is designed to be a common service platform based on the "Common Message+Lua" The Common Message is on the communication layer, which can supply routing function for communicating between different processes. Using the session provided by the Common Message, DSP creates the common service instance model used the FSM (Finite-State Machine). And it is very conveniently for service logic development by using Lua which is a powerfull script language.This paper mainly discusses the DSP moduel which is the kernel process moduel in the IDP3.0. In the first paragraph, it introduces the Mobile Data Service’s background, including the Mobile Data Service summarize and future development. The following paragraph clarifies the necessity and the urgency of the origin of the IDP3.0particularly. The third paragraph draws the overall framework of the IDP3.0, and descripts the outer interfaces and third-party technology relatived. The most important paragraph is the fourth segment, which is discussed the overall design and the detail design for DSP. The System Testing is descripted in the fifth paragraph. The last paragraph makes a plan for the next stage, and has visions of future for the IDP3.0.
