With China’s economy growing rapidly, reformation and development of China’s banking industry have made remarkable achievements. At the same time, the fierce competition between different banks promoting the development has also brought about opportunities and challenges to the banking industry. As an important means of improving competitiveness, informatization has been a key point in the construction of the banking system. But as informatization advances, owing to the limitation of the specific conditions, a large number of various business systems have been built independently and a lot of key information has been limited in each independent system. As a result, there is a lack of effective interaction approach between different systems, resulting no sharing of information and forming a lot of isolated information islands. With the continuous development of business, the demand for interaction between information systems becomes stronger and stronger. At the same time, all financial institutions have been continuously improving the functions of their business system and changing the structure of the system. As a result, the system has been gradually changing from business-centered to customer-centered, thus making application system levels in the banking industry changing greatly.In order to solve all kinds of problems caused by the complex application architecture in the present banking industry, reduce pressures of maintenance and development personnel working in the banking industry, develop faster new business system, and improve the core competitiveness of the enterprise, this thesis proposes a comprehensive banking application integration solution-the financial exchange platform. Financial exchange platform will effectively connect various banking application service systems with the exchange center, effectively implementing information interaction and transfer between different systems and meet all kinds of requirements of application services. At the same time, on the basis of implementing information exchange, flexibility, automation and intelligence of information exchange are considered. Also, information exchange between application service system supporting a variety of agreements are implemented.Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is a kind of design methodology. It is a kind of method that structures the combined application system through the reusable services. Its purpose is to maximize adaptability and efficiency of the system through reusing neutral services. Based on the analysis of the traditional banking system model, I design and implemente the financial exchange platform based on SOA. The contents of this thesis are divided into the following several parts:1) After compared with the traditional banking system model, a new kind of banking system model was put forward. As a result, the business system architecture was changed from mesh-structured to star-structured whose center was the financial exchange platform;2) Designed the function and system architecture of the financial exchange platform. The designation of the platform was based on SOA, so as to implemente business agility and software reusability of the banking system;3) Designed and implemented the main function modules including interception module, interception management module, message processing module, task scheduling cluster management module, a service module, message buffer, platform daemon, etc., meeting the functional requirements of the platform. In addition, the interception module and message module were designed more specifically;4) In this chapter, the function of the platform was implemented, performance testing was proceeded, and the test results were analyzed.At last, this chapter summarized the working contents of this thesis, and put forward the future researching direction.
