Now, wireless communication industry is developing rapidly, especially the third generation mobile communication technology is universal. LTE acts as a transition technology between3G and4G, the mobile communication system is applied, and it is complicated than2G system, so the electromagnetic compatibility is also ordered strictly. Video calls, online games and other modules require the high system capacity and quality. The more complex is its degree, the more attention will be paid to. Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) refers to a device or system in the electromagnetic environment to meet the requirements of operation and not produce intolerable electromagnetic interference to any device. The EMC includes two requirements:One refers to equipments generate electromagnetic interference can’t exceed a certain limit during normal operation; on the other hand refers to the apparatus in electromagnetic interference environment with some degree of immunity, i.e. electromagnetic sensitivity. This paper will take multiple modules aspect based on HFSS software to research on electromagnetic compatibility. The electromagnetic interference contribution of every module element and its influence on the external radiation will be used as concerned factors to provide basis of improving the electromagnetic compatibility of the LTE terminal. In addition, it must be pointed out that, the modern LTE terminal equipment has developed gradually to the multi-antenna input/output, on the other words, its various function module is established on the basis of MIMO. At present, the study of foreign terminal in the LTE MIMO has significant results, the domestic research in this area is slightly. Inferior to the mobile terminal especially LTE mobile phone terminal design is just at the beginning stage. However, to analysis by dividing multiple modules and multi system in the terminal on the field of electromagnetic compatibility, at home and abroad have few precedents. At the same time, the paper also presents a structure of electromagnetic band gap to improve MIMO isolation, decrease the interference between antenna,by comparing electromagnetic compatibility performance parameters to tell with and without the structure that the influence on electromagnetic compatibility.
