The main research content of this project is how to design and realize the distributed switching system protocol. Compared with the traditional communication mode, the distributed switching system protocol has many advantages such as high flexibility, anti-destroy, strong practicality and easy-maintenance. So it is very suitable for civilian and military communication including emergency fire protection, field campaign and exploration.Combined with the characteristics of wire and wireless distributed switching system protocol, the project finishes the design of the distributed switching system protocol, which is primarily based on the third generation automatic link establishment (3G-ALE) protocol and common Channel Signaling (CCS). This design enhances the flexibility of the system. According to the characteristics of CCS, detecting signal is separated from communication signal, which makes system have a unified signaling management mechanism. This project combines wire and wireless system that improves the practicality of the distributed switching system.This project mainly focuses on network topology and layered structure to design system architecture on the basis of the characteristics of distributed switching system the project devised. The system user consists of wire and wireless user and wire user are further divided into many group so that the system has diverse communication model. The design of the protocol of the whole system and hardware platform is based on the different communication model. The process is designed and interface protocol is set according to the communication protocol. Design of display interface according to system function is next finished by using MiniGUI to carry out the whole interface.DSP and ARM embedded processor are chosen as main control chip and μC/OS-Ⅱ is selected as operation system. The realization of the whole system is accomplished after achieving the development of system program.
