The Research And Development Of The Forest Products Price Information System

The price of forest products is an important indicator which affects forestry enterprises’ economic, and how to passed the market price information to the target groups quickly and accurately is a pressing problem the forestry information service must solve. However, foresters are difficult to access and use of forest products price information timely and accurately, because of information asymmetry, the lack of knowledge, the imperfect means and channels of information services, etc. Forest products price information system is established to provide necessary forest products price information for foresters, in order to help them adjust production timely and best to avoid market risks, and then promote the construction of forestry information effectively.This paper first summarized the current status of the research of agriculture and forestry information systems and price index. And then, taking Sanming City, Fujian Province as the research object, determined the information collection process of forest products price, including (1) the classification of forest products, and on this basis, select sample forest products according to the regional coverage, class representative, etc;(2) select the price locality in accordance with the importance sampling method;(3) collect price information by means of telephone interviews, and then organize and reporting them.This paper firstly described the needs analysis, overall design, detailed design, database design, and the relevant technologies. Then, the system was developed by the use of B/S architecture and S2SH frame.The achievement of this System, basically meets the price needs of farmers and forest enterprises in Fujian Sanming, and it has played a certain role in promoting forestry information technology.
