Research On The In-depth Reporting And Social Development Image

With the rapid development of new media technology, Chinese traditional media,especially print media, is faced with serious challenges and great survival pressure.The traditional media will get into a helpless impasse if it does not actively adapt tothe the era of network communication. So it’s very urgent for traditional media to findanother way to play its own advantages and to improve its communication effects.According to the development of tarditional media in recent years, it’s a fasiblemethod to focus on in-depth reporting.In this thesis, I have choosed405in-depth reporting from China Youth Daily asstudy objective. This thesis aims to study what’s the role of in-depth reporting plays inpresenting the social image by using the method combining the content analysis andsocial analysis.As a result, the in-depth reporting plays three main roles in presenting the socialimage. Firstly, the in-depth reporting reflects the rich connotation of social image.Secondly, the in-depth reporting exercises its public mission in presenting the socialiamge. Lastly, the in-depth reporting combines the authority and proximity inpresenting the social image.
