MOOK is a new publishing form that is currently active in the book market. In the fever of MOOK publishing, the integrated humanities and social science book "DUKU" by Zhang Lixian is highly praised through six years of development, and is known as "A MOOK of the most value in the MOOK publishing trend", and has become a noteworthy cultural phenomenon.The author makes a systematic study on the text of "DUKU":through data statistics formed by the author’s preliminary reading, the text of "DUKU" is mainly divided into historical narration and news narration. In nature, the narrative features of the text Reading Library has consistency with mass swerve of historical narrative and literary swerve of news narrative after the1990s. Mass culture causes innovative impetus for the field of traditional narrative. The era swerve of the historical narrative and the news narrative has profound background of historical development, whose emergence and rise in the1990s have different cultural, technical and historical reasons compared with that in the past. The swerve of the narrative filed has various significance and influence on both the subject itself and the public. The reason why the text Reading Library has different cultural significance is that it has characteristics of the times, i.e., historical narrative and news narrative, and extends the value in its cultural derivatives well, i.e.,’leaving text samples about the era’. Both historical narrative and news narrative have pursuit for authenticity. The pursuit does not deny traditional narrative modes but means a change in standpoint. Their swerve together with traditional narrative modes constructs the current era of polyphony narrative.
