During the recent years, with a new Web3.0rise, an open Internet social services WeChat also arises at the historic moment. As a new transmission platform, media product WeChat shows more and more influence to People’s Daily life, the ways of expression, and the usage of media and other aspects. Why WeChat can stay in people’s mobile phone at so amazing speed, and came after the Microblog become part of people’s living essential? Based on the theory of uses and gratifications,my article investigated the basic needs of the user of WeChat as well as the problems in meeting users need.In this paper, I obtained the data of the users and basic needs of them by questionnaire, based on this questionnaire I analyzed the basic characteristics of the users、basic needs as well as the basic meet morphology who use WeChat. Analyze the problem of WeChat in meeting users’ needs, provide the reference for rational development and utilization.
