Spectrum resource is the limited and scarce resource for mobile communication, and is the fundamental of the mobile operators. That making use of the spectrum resources rationally and efficiently is the common goal for worldwide standardization organizations and operators. At present, most regions exist the same channel or adjacent channel co-existence of a variety of systems at the same geography areas, and the spectrum allocation planning among systems needs the research results of the co-existence interference as favorable technical support, which can improve the spectrum utilization effectively. Thus, the study on the co-existence interference of all kinds of mobile communication systems becomes the key problem for the spectrum planning and network deployment.Currently, for LTE system scenario, the industry mainly only studies the macro cells interfering macro cells situation; and for LTE-Advanced system scenario, the industry is only in its infancy. On the base of the existing research results of the industry, this paper studies and simulates the scenario of LTE systems having micro/pico cells, and the scenario of LTE-Advanced systems, under the2.6GHz band. This paper is based on the content of the3GPP TR36.942,25.942, and30.03, and studies the adjacent channel interference between co-existence systems in the LTE system or LTE-A system under2.6GHz band. First of all, we check out the simulation scenarios of the3GPP protocol or CCSA TC5WG8under2.0GHz band, and verify the correctness of the simulation platform, and then, under2.6GHz band we studies five interference scenarios, that is,(1)10MHz LTE macro system interfering10MHz LTE micro system; (2)10MHz LTE macro system interfering10MHz LTE pico system;(3)40MHz LTE-A macro system interfering40MHz LTE-A macro system;(4)40MHz LTE-A macro system interfering10MHz LTE macro system;(5)40MHz LTE-A macro system interfering20MHz LTE macro system. In each scenario, we use deterministic analysis method to calculate the additional isolation value of the BS interfering BS link, and use system-level simulation method to get the relation curve of the relative throughput loss and adjacent channel interference ratio (ACIR), and then the required additional isolation value, in BS interfering UE link, UE interfering BS link and UE interfering UE link, and finally, according to the above research results, we put forward some measures in engineering to avoid the adjacent channel interference.
