As the rapid development of social economy and mobile communication technology, the coverage area of mobile communication network becomes much wider, which make it become more and more important for supplying reliable and stable power-supply system to mobile communication base station. China has broad territory and complicated topographical features, and in some remote sites, such as island and highland, the traditional transmission line can’t reach. Besides, present existing base station power supply system in these remote areas still exit certain problems in operation reliability, energy consumption pollution emissions, economic benefit, and etc.Aiming at Sand Islands area mobile base station power supply system requirements and its unique geographical environment, this thesis puts forward the creative of the mobile communication base station wind-solar-hydrogen new energy hybrid power supply system. Wind-solar-hydrogen hybrid power supply system generates electricity by utilizing Sand Islands area abundant wind and solar energy, which make base station load use, at the same time, the surplus electricity are transmitted into hydrogen through the electrolytic water hydrogen production machine and stored in solid hydrogen storage system, then when wind and solar energy are insufficient, it can supply power through hydrogen fuel cell to base station load. Power is stored by clean hydrogen, and in the way of solid hydrogen storage, which guarantee the safety of the hydrogen use. During the energy conversion and utilization process, the formation of water can be recycled and no pollution. Based on the study and design on Base Station wind-solar-hydrogen new energy hybrid power supply system in Sand Islands area, the thesis firstly gives analysis and design on various required modules of hybrid power supply system model. Then taking Yongxing Island of Sand Islands as an example, it analyzes the resource conditions and climatic data of the solar and wind energy, combined with the base station load electricity demand to get the optimal solution on system configuration through linear programming method, which make the overall input cost minimum under the premise of meeting the base station load electricity demand for wind-solar-hydrogen supply system.Test and analysis results show that this design of the wind-solar-hydrogen hybrid power supply system can provide stable and reliable power supply to base station load, and at the same time, long-term operation total cost and environmental benefits are much better than the Sand Islands area existing mobile base station power supply system.
