This issue research the HD encoder which supports H.264,MPEG4, G.711,MP3audio compression algorithm,the purpose and advantages is even though in low network bandwidth situation, it also has excellent audio reducibility and reduces the network transmission pressure. User can through the common player to broadcast video to watch. Encoder can be widely used in Banks, security monitoring, cell phone video broadcast, teleconferencing, schools, hospitals, military and many other fields.The method of this issue is to use embedded structure to realize audio/video coding, real-time network transmission function, the client software can realize audio and video signals decoding and playing video. Embedded system including hardware and software, we can develop the embedded software in our own encoder platform. Embedded products must have the support of the hardware hd encoder can use the latest TMS320DM368(integrated ARM9and DSP) video processor which announced by TI. The novelty is to use hard-coded by internal processor DSP (HDVICP) the applications only need to call some interfaces DSP, shorten the development cycle of developers.Our development belongs to large-scale embedded software, which needs to an operating system to support, in order to unify management system resources, scheduling multiple applications and the file system management function. The whole embedded Linux including Linux kernel, the file system and application software. The actual show that the development of HD encoder which realizes the required functions, the compression data can transmission on the network because they become very small. Client can watch video through VLC and the image quality meets requirement.
