WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) is a technology that has a very rapid development today. Its main purpose is to split part of the mobile communication Network data business flow. In the large-scale of WLAN networking, the task of network planning and optimization test become quite important.The traditional WLAN network performance testing defects are as follows:1. The traditional WLAN network performance test in the space has multiple wireless channels, and will affect the test results.2. The traditional test lack of testing users’traffic statistics under the real data transmission link, therefore may lead to inaccurate results.3. The lack of traditional multi-user coverage performance test between the throughput statistics.4. Lack of user throughput under different signal-to-noise ratio.5. Lack of multi-user in different cooperation and business performance analysis.Therefore, the main purpose of this paper is to study the WLAN network performance test methods based on the user’s perception. The main work and innovation are as follows:1. Introduction of the wireless local area network (WLAN) protocol standard802.11series and thorough analysis of the WLAN network wireless channel environment. This paper puts forward a design of wireless simulation platform and sets up a wireless simulation test platform;2. Design the end-to-end WLAN testing system based on the users’ perception, which focus on network coverage, the interference signal to noise ratio (SNR), the maximum support users, the Qos application, the stability and throughput factors;3. Based on WLAN spectrum research, draw the interference factors which influence.the network performance, and get Co-Channel interference and Adjacent Channel interference of signal-to-noise ratio influence throughput performance which satisfied the needs of the user minimum network load signal-to-noise ratio;4. Use VeriWave to build a simulation scenario testing system. The different business flow and different SLA index requirements of the users simulate the real scene and make end-to-end testing. In the evaluation of the actual different business WLAN network quality service, the network performance evaluation should be able to evaluate network in dealing with different priority service processing ability.Through the test method of the WLAN network performance based on the users’ perception, we can get a more comprehensive network performance, the overall situation in the application level for the use of user perception, so as to improve the subsequent targeted of network and get a data foundation of user satisfaction system.
