With the rapid development of the Internet, there are more and more information transmitted on the network. In order to ensure information security and prevent the spread of unlawful or immoral information, government departments impose internet censorship. Over the years, some penetration software has emerged which can penetrate the firewall. And the security of the network is under threat. Therefore, it is of great importance to find schemes to control the software. This paper takes a deep analysis and research on penetration software and proposes schemes to control them. This paper summarizes the existing software protection technology and software analysis techniques. Then it proposes a novel efficient method to analyze network software. Next, this paper sums up the general characteristics of the popular penetration software and divides them into two groups: proxy and VPN. Then we illuminate the principle of encrypted proxy and VPN. We analyze the typical penetration software (UltraSurf, SecurityKISS, GreenVPN) using analysis tools such as OllyDbg, IDA Pro, Wireshark and so on. And we find out the internal structures of the software, the workflows, algorithms of encryption and decryption, methods of fetching the IP address of servers, features of network communication, built-in secret data, etc. According to the results of the software analysis, the paper proposes schemes to control them. We establish an experimental system applying netfilter/iptables IP packets filter technology. The experimental results show that the control schemes affect proper functioning of these penetration software while guarantee the normal network services.
