Along with the fast development in sensors technology, Internet of Things(IoT) develops fast in the industry and receives a great deal of attention by the media and society. However, from the experiences of industry, we conclude that current development of IoT exists the following problems:non-perfect system architecture, fragmentized resources, poor sharing experience and low users’participation, which results in closed-loop information within the system. Based on the success of Web2.0model in Internet, Web technology is summarized to be distributed, loose coupling and extensible. So we construct IoT architecture with Web technology, called Web of Things, so as to leverage horizontal development in IoT applications. The open architecture with an united open interfaces for applications, can motivates third-party developers achieved their applications with low cost, improve user participation and enhances resources reusability.Based on the current WoT architecture, this paper summarizes three open forms of resources explosion in WoT:based on the sensing equipment openness, Web proxy server/gateway openness and Web platform openness. It designs open interfaces protocol in WoT architecture with the Web proxy server/gateway open form. Secondly, based on the above WoT structure and previous designed open interfaces protocol, this paper constructs the experimental environment of intelligent house which is combination of software and hardware of integrated environmental monitoring system, lighting monitoring and control system, appliances monitoring and control system and video monitoring system. The SmartHome software, which is the remote terminal in intelligent house environment, access the gateway and the platform of WoT with Web technology and previous designed open interfaces to realized environmental monitoring, lighting monitoring and control, appliances monitoring and control and video monitoring integrally.
